WELCOME
Thank you for your interest in the Charity Partnership Program, an initiative dedicated to connecting the most inspiring causes with passionate athletes who want to make their race one with a real impact on the community.
We want to work together to create an effective, visible, and meaningful platform for fundraising and promoting your organization’s mission.
Since their inception, YOLO Events have been more than just competitions—they have been celebrations of community, movement, and goodwill. Each edition brings together thousands of amateur and professional athletes, volunteers, and supporters who transform kilometers into compassion and energy into change.
Through this program, we want to offer our partner NGOs the opportunity to:
- raise funds and increase the visibility of their cause;
- attract new supporters and volunteers;
- tell their story to an engaged community;
- be part of a national sports movement with a purpose.
This guide explains the structure of the YOLO Events Charity Program, its benefits, available packages, and the opportunities offered to our partners.
We are glad to have you with us — and we can’t wait to get moving together for a good cause!
Let’s get Romania to exercise with heart.
— The YOLO EVENTS Team
Why become a charitable partner?
We have seen how running and sports can transform lives — and through this program, we want to offer you the chance to use that same energy to support your organization’s mission.
By participating in the Yolo Events Charity Program, you will benefit from:
- Visibility: appearances on the official website of the chosen competition, on the registration platform, and in official communications.
- Interaction: direct contact with participants and the public on the day of the event.
- Fundraising: the opportunity to attract athletes who participate and donate to your cause.
- Promotion: exposure through media channels, newsletters, and 21K social networks.
How it works
The YOLO Events charity partnership is a collaboration based on mutual commitments, but without fixed costs.
Each party has an important role to play — and success depends on our joint involvement and collaboration.
| CHARITABLE PARTNER | |
| + recruits runners/triathletes and teams who want to participate in its cause; + communicates with and motivates participants to raise funds or promote the organization’s message; + manages the fundraising campaign (using its own platform or one recommended by the organizers);+ promotes its presence at the event;+ keeps all the funds raised; |
| YOLO EVENTS | |
| + plans and delivers races and event experiences; + creates enthusiasm and community involvement; + provides technical and logistical support for the registration and promotion process; + promotes the stories of charitable partners in the media and on its own channels. + creates visibility around the event |
In short
YOLO Events creates the framework, platform, and visibility.
You bring the story, energy, and people who make it possible.
Together, we turn every kilometer into a good deed. 💙
What you need
The success of a charity program collaboration does not depend on the size of the organization, but on enthusiasm, planning, and involvement. Here are the basics for a successful project:
1. An enthusiastic coordinator
Choose someone who loves the cause and the energy of the event. They will manage registrations, motivate athletes, and liaise with the YOLO Events team. A committed coordinator can turn a good campaign into a remarkable success.
2. A way to reach supporters
Use your communication channels—email, social media, online groups—to keep runners/triathletes, volunteers, and donors close. Constant communication keeps motivation alive until race day.
3. Openness and initiative
Be curious, creative, and ready to try new things. Whether it’s your first or fifth time participating, each edition brings the opportunity to tell your story differently – on the move.
4. A small, active team
Ideally, someone who can send regular messages to participants, update social media posts, and coordinate thank-you notes or symbolic rewards for the team.
We support you
The YOLO Events team provides you with materials, guides, technical support, and promotion on official channels. You bring the story, energy, and community. Together, we make every kilometer count.

Is there a minimum number of participants we need to recruit?
Do you offer discounts for charitable participants?
We do not offer discounts. Competitors can register normally on the website, but if they register via the link dedicated to your cause, you will receive a percentage as a donation after the event.
How can we raise funds?
You can choose your own fundraising platform or use the recommended one: galantom.ro.
Funds can be collected online, through direct donations, or through your own events. We offer guidance and support for implementation.
Can we bring our own tent and volunteers to the event?
Only partners who qualify for a package that includes this benefit may set up a tent in the event area. However, all causes may set up a cheering area with their own branding along the route.
Is it mandatory to have volunteers on the race weekend?
It is not mandatory, but it is recommended. Your volunteers can wear team T-shirts, cheer on the athletes along the route, and contribute to the atmosphere of the event.
What happens if we don't achieve the objectives in the package?
The benefits of a package are offered when you reach the threshold for that package. Thus, if you do not reach the threshold for a package, you retain the benefits for the threshold you fall under.
How can we recruit participants?

How do we receive funds donated online?
Donations collected through the selected online platform are transferred directly to the organization's account on a regular basis (weekly or monthly, depending on the platform).
Can we register participants who are already registered?

How do you promote us as a charitable partner?
Charities will be promoted on the competition's official website, in newsletters, on social media, and in media communications associated with the event, depending on the package you qualify for.
